Who we are

Our group and our history

  • 1987 - Origins

    The Studio Legale Maggesi was founded in Rome by Avv. Luigi Maggesi specialized in private law and sport law. The firm enjoys great reputation in Rome in the field of labour law and private law.

  • 2009 - Internationalization

    The firm becomes Maggesi & Partners as the founder involves as a partner his son Avv. Fabio Maggesi expert in web law and international law. In the following years, Fabio Maggesi boosts the department of web law and commence cooperation with several law firms outside Italy.

  • 2014 - Foreign Offices

    The firm merges with the Turkish-Italian Law Firm managed by Avv. Lorenzo Macchi. Hence, together with the new partner focused on international commercial law and maritime law, the firm establishes its presence in London and Izmir.

  • 2017 - Strengthening

    The firm opens the second office in Rome and grows up in size and number of professionals. Moreover, it increases the number of practice areas thus becoming a “Full Services Law Firm”.

  • 2019 - Globalization

    The firm is renamed MEPLAW and throughout an articulated system of strategic alliances with foreign law firms is present in several countries around the world such as UAE, Brazil, Japan and U.S.

  • 2020 - Expansion

    The firm opens a new branch in Milan as well as the new office in Rome, placed in the stunning location of Fori Imperiali. Avv. Prof. Francesco Mazza is also appointed as new partner to lead the practice of Criminal Law and White Collar Crimes.
